Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE)

The international non-profit that Magda created in 1978 to provide resources and training for infant educarers practicing her Educaring approach. RIE maintains an active mentor-based professional development program, publishes a growing catalogue of Educaring books and DVDs and runs parent and professional training at their headquarters in Los Angeles. RIE is also expanding support for it's worldwide network of RIE Associates and certfiied instructors to bring the Educaring approach to more localities. Click for more

Magda Gerber studied with Emme Pikler in Budapest Hungary before immegrating to the USA and founding the Educaring approach and the RIE non-profit organization. Today, Pikler International organizations support the ongoing operations of the orphanage in Hungary and have opened fundraising and programs chapters in many countries including Pikler/Loczy Fund USA..
